Isn’t he just the most handsome thing you ever did see? Lord! This boy makes my heart melt and ache for more kiddos all at once. He had no problem at all hamming it up for me with his big smile and bright eyes. For milestone sessions, unless parents want something more elaborate or with a specific theme, I keep things simple and classic. Another thing I like to do is milestone sessions at the 4-8-12 month markers. At four months, they show a little more personality and poses can be a bit more versatile than at three months. With the eight month session they are sitting up on their own which isn’t necessarily the case for all six month old babies. With that said, his mama and I agreed that starting his milestone sessions at four months would be the best. Are you ready for the cuteness?
I mean…c’mon….look at that handsome little chunky monkey! Could he smile any bigger?
Personally, I tend to like portraits to be this way mainly to focus on a baby’s budding personality and just how little they really are at this moment. Or…documenting the classic fist in the mouth.
I get a kick out of seeing all the little faces babies make. Most professional cameras can snap about 7 images per second (some faster than that). Imagine all the fun little smirks, nose scrunches, and lip puckers you get to see and capture. Logan didn’t waste his opportunity with me!
Hamming it up one minute. Then, leaving you no choice. Here comes the smolder.
….and his mama gets to kiss that sweet little face any time she wants to!
3 and 4 month milestones yield more “laying on the back” poses then I really like. But, we got a few different ones since he is 4-4 1/2 months old. Hello, handsome.
And since he IS a little bit older, we had to at least get one of him sitting up. Isn’t this the best!? No worries! Hands were on him at all times and just a little bit of editing magic took care of that. Safety FIRST and safety ALWAYS!
