COVID-19 Studio Policies and Protocols | Columbus Ohio Newborn Photographer

Ohio has begun reopening the state of Ohio beginning on May 1, 2020. The Stay at Home order issued by Governor DeWine was extended until May 29, 2020. With so many unknowns with the reopening and the strict social distancing guidelines still in place, our newborn and baby photography studio will remain closed for the month of May and June. We are anticipating and hope to reopen in July. There are a number of variables that contributed to this decision including my husband who is a high risk category.  We are committed to protecting all of our families even if this means we need to wait a little while longer to reopen.

We are still actively pre-booking sessions for August through December. There is concern with a second wave in the fall or winter. Should this occur along with stay at home orders: for the safety and well being of all our families, non-refundable retainers will have two options: apply amount to a future session within one calendar year of the scheduled session/due date or the non-refundable retainer WILL be refunded within 7-10 business days of session cancellation.

Our top priority continues to be the health and safety of our clients. We have always taken a very cautious, proactive approach to health and safety.  This includes wearing a mask. We are adding additional precautions to mitigate any risk for your family including removing everything out of the immediate studio area except our leather couch and coffee table in order to minimize contact surface areas.

I have created a page on my website as well that includes all of this information.  You will notice the banner above that links to it as well.  I hope everyone stays safe and stays healthy!
