Although Ohio began Phase 1 of reopening the state on May 1st, our studio will remain closed for the month of May and June. We are anticipating to reopen in July. There are a number of variables that contributed to this decision including pediatricians recommendations, social distancing guidelines, and my husband who is a high risk category.

We are still actively booking sessions in expectation of restrictions being lifted as new cases decline. There is concern with a second wave in the fall or winter. Should this occur along with stay at home orders: for the safety and well being of all our families, non-refundable retainers will have two options: apply amount to a future session within one calendar year of the scheduled session/due date or the non-refundable retainer WILL be refunded within 7-10 business days of session cancellation.

Our top priority has always been and continues to be the health and safety of our clients. We have always taken a very proactive approach to health and safety at sessions. We are adding additional precautions to mitigate any risk for your family including removing everything out of the immediate studio area except our leather couch and coffee table in order to minimize contact surface areas.

Policies that have always been in place

All fabrics and outfits are laundered immediately following sessions. Headbands, hats, bonnets, etc. are hand washed and santized.

The studio, furniture, bathroom, props, etc. are all cleaned and disinfected using EPA and CDC guidelines and recommended cleaning agents.

Gloves and medical grade mask is worn by your photographer.

Masks will be required to be worn by everyone entering and or remaining in the studio for the session.

Regular hand washing before sessions begin & through out as needed. Hand sanitizer is used as well.

Additional protocols & policies effective immediately

Immediate family only. Grandparents, cousins, aunts, uncles, etc. will not be permitted. Situations requiring a support person will be determined on a case by case basis i.e. mother coming alone with baby and sibling(s) and father cannot come.

Shoes must be taken off outside on our studio porch and remain there. Families should bring socks or prepare to be barefoot in the studio for their session.

Families will be required to wash hands when they arrive and will have access to hand sanitizer at all times.

Photographer & her family will be taking daily temperature checks. Families will be required to do the same the day before their session & the morning of their session. Anyone who arrives and appears to have any kind of symptom will be immediately turned away and the session cancelled.

Only one session a day will be scheduled. Sessions will be scheduled with a minimum of 48 hours between each session.
